Our Bitcoin Mining practice focuses on efficiency and sustainability. We strive to partner with hosting providers that secure environmentally friendly energy sources like hydroelectric. We have a responsibility to our planet and to the next generation.
Our development practice is rooted in responsibility to our project stakeholders, to the community, to sustainability, and to the future of place. While healthy returns are important to any project, we see development beyond just the financials. Developing real estate has an impact, and it is our job to lead projects that create a positive impact.
Founder/Principal
My name is Ian Griggs, founder of Placemaker Group. After graduating from the College of Charleston with a Bachelors in International Business I went to work in advertising for 9 years before following my passion for Urbanism. Having always been fascinated by great cities, I turned to the University of Miami’s School of Architecture to continue my education. The Masters of Real Estate Development and Urbanism (MRED+U) program provided me the tools necessary to lead others to make smart, data driven decisions in the world of Real Estate. Utilizing state of the art programs such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems), along with publicly available data I help clients unlock value in their business.
